Jedi Titles

I had an idea for the Jedi PCs earning titles regardless of their Org Score. Just a little something for them specializing in one or more areas. I compiled a list below. Thoughts anyone?

Force Warrior - Martial Arts I-III, Weapon Specialization (Simple weapons)

Jedi Ace – Force Pilot Talent with UtF +15 or +15 Pilot Skill with Vehicular Combat Feat

Jedi Guardian – at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Consular – at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Sentinel – at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Weapon Master – proficient in all base weapons (simple, pistols, rifles, advanced melee, heavy, one exotic)

Jedi Sniper – Saber Throw Talent with UtF +15

Jedi Brute – Fights with a dual lightsaber and has one of these lightsaber form talents (Ataru, Shien, and/or Soresu)

Jedi Healer – Vital Transfer Force Power with UtF mod of +15 or Treat Injury of +15

Jedi archaeologist – Life Sciences +15

Jedi historian – Galactic Lore +15

Jedi librarian – 2+ Knowledges of +15

Jedi geologist – Physical Sciences +15

Jedi investigator – at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Shadow – at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi instructor – Has taken on a padawan, has a UtF +15, and at least 1 talent from the tree

Jedi battlemaster – 2 talents from the Lightsaber Combat Talent tree, 1 lightsaber form talent, 1 talent from the Battlemaster or Duelist talent trees, and at least 2 of the Lightsaber Form Powers

Jedi trainer – Has learned a tier 3 Force Power and has then taught another the use of this Power

I'm debating what if anything to apply to these two titles. Thoughts anyone?

also bear in mind the reason these are so high is they are meant to be earned just as you become a Knight or a Master level. apprentices shouldn't be earning these in the first few months of play unless they are VERY impressive. Most won't even be able to be achieved till you get a few talents from the Prestige Classes.

these two are a little vague..... how many lightsaber or unarmed combat talents and feats would be needed for these?

I think you summed up the Jedi Weapon Master. The Battlemaster is a lightsaber combat master.

I would change Jedi Instructor to - Has taken on a padawan, has a UtF +15, and at least 1 talent from the tree

Also,

Jedi Ace – Force Pilot Talent with UtF +15 or Pilot Skill +15 and proficient with veichle weapons (whether by talen or feat).

I think 2 talents form the Lightsaber Combat Talent tree, 1 lightsaber form, and at least 1 of the Lightsaber Form Powers for BattleMaster.

There is 3 different feats and I think 1 or 2 talents that can make one proficient with veichle weapons so I left it open, though the most Jedi-ish one is definetly Veichular Combat.

As for Battlemaster, those requirements seem like the title is going to be extremely common given the fact that most Jedi are probably going to meet those requirements. I would add the requirment of atleast one talent from the Duelist or Jedi Battlemaster talent trees.

I think we'll go with the Vehicular Combat Feat for Jedi Ace.

Also very good point about the battlemaster. It shouldn't be easy to obtain. I'm going to add 1 more lightsaber form power to its requirements as well.

Okay I went a little overboard and just re-built the list from the ground up trying to keep the requirements realtively equal amongst all the titles (and adding the Watchman title)

Jedi Guardian – Basic title; either assigned by Shelkar, requested by a player, or given automatically if the character has at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Consular – Basic title; either assigned by Shelkar, requested by a player, or given automatically if the character has at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Sentinel – Basic title; either assigned by Shelkar, requested by a player, or given automatically if the character has at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Force Warrior - Martial Arts I-III, Force Training

Jedi Ace – Force Pilot Talent with UtF +15 or +15 Pilot Skill with Vehicular Combat Feat

Jedi Archaeologist – Life Sciences +15 and at least 1 talent from the Archivist talent tree

Jedi Artisan – at least 2 talents from the corresponding talent tree

Jedi Battlemaster – 2 talents from the Lightsaber Combat Talent tree, 2 talents from the Battlemaster or Duelist talent trees (at least one must be from the Battlemaster tree)

Jedi Brute – Fights with a dual lightsaber and has 2 of these lightsaber form talents (Ataru, Shien, and/or Soresu)

Jedi Geologist – Physical Sciences +15 and at least 1 talent from the Archivist talent tree
