Rebellion

The first ripples of the Galactic Civil War were subtle, but heard round the Galaxy for those who knew how to listen. ~ Ben Kenobi 2 BBY

The Galactic Civil War has grown beyond mere stirrings and loose resistance forces. With the formation of The Alliance to Restore the Republic officialized two years ago with the signing of the Corellian Treaty, the last, and formerly ragged pockets of resistance around the galaxy into a larger, slightly less rag-tag army, one which the Emperor has no sway within.

Following the disaster at the Massacre of Toprowa, rumors circulate among the highest levels of the Rebellion that the Moff Council has developed a superweapon capable of destroying entire planets.

All was starting to look lost, as the Alliance Special forces took major casualties to get whatever was taken from Toprowa. Until General Obi-Wan Kenobi appeared to generals of the Resistance with a cadre of barely trained Jedi apprentices.

After much consideration, General Reiken assigned Obi-Wan and his "unit" to their own branch of Special Operations, where slowly but surely, fighting guerilla style across the galaxy they have started to prove to be more than a mere annoyance to the Empire.

Rebellion Characters will begin as young apprentices in General Obi-Wan's Jedi-Praxeum, or Alliance Special Operations (Specops) recruits.

Spec Ops

Fringer

Little Coruscant, The Smugglers Moon, The Vertical City, The Jewel of Nal Hutta, Call it what you will Nar Shadda is one of the most populated planets in the Galaxy. As the Galactic Empire expands it's power and control further and further from the core, more and more refugees, cast-offs, displaced nobles, and outlaws make their way to Hutt space to try and turn a living one way or another amongst the crime and pollution that covers every inch of the entirely urbanized moon, swelling it's population to record numbers.

Crime lords, Gang Bosses, Diplomats, and Businessmen struggle for control of their 10 block "zones", while others struggle simply to make it by day to day as the oppressive Empire disbands the Galactic Senate, and further locks down the Holonet and it's sister Hypernet, making it difficult to get around when one can't find a Starport.

In addition to information, the Empire makes more and more goods and services illegal, and "Fringers" from across the galaxy ply their wares, decent and destructive on Smugglers Moon.

Characters for the Fringe Game can take part of any number of activities, criminal and commercial, centered around Nar Shaddaa. Reading Scum and Villiany would be a good starting point to understand what the Fringe Game is often like.

Nar Shaddaa

Sith

Darth Sidious also known as Emperor Palpatine of the Galactic Empire was able to take hold of the Galactic Republic and gain executive power, consolidating his power to never give it back to the senate. His power only grew more absolute and daunting as he expanded his court of servants, wisely choosing those that challenged him and served the Dark Side of the Force absolutely.

Two years before the present Sidious began to either grow blind to the will of the dark side or started serving himself over the dark side. Dromund Kaas had its surface ripped apart by large turbolaser batteries from large Imperial Cruisers and a Star Destroyer from above its atmosphere. Sidious recieved word the prophets of the dark side had been killed with their temple crumbling in around them, the Sith Lord grinning at his latest victory.

While Sidious celebrated, on Roon a long forgotten planet that once was home to many sith, there was a meeting between a short man in dark abyssal robes. Kadann, the man Sidious had made Supreme prophet of the dark side many years before, gathered his loyal prophets as he sent them out into the galaxy to recruit those he felt potential to train in the ways of the Sith. Sidious had lost his way and now this group was responsible for taking down the betrayer and returning the sith to their natural place.

Kadann took his place as Dark Lord of the Sith in the eyes of the Sith Metamorphosis and began to train his students to wait for their best time to move against Sidious and his own that had become weak and forgotten what it was to serve the dark side.

Characters for the Sith Game will begin as young students to Kadann and his collection of instructors.
